This website is built to collect as little data as possible. The short version: your grades and settings are processed only in your browser, there are no cookies and no requests to third parties.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, with a data processing agreement; no data is transferred to third countries. When you open a page, the web server processes technical data needed to deliver it (IP address, time, requested page, browser type). Addresses are shortened in the logs and logs are kept only for a short time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Your inputs and settings

Totals, scores, weights and grading scales are handled only in your browser; they are not sent to our server. For your convenience the tools store your last settings and the color theme in the local storage of your browser. This is functionally necessary, contains no tracking and can be deleted at any time through your browser settings. When you use “Copy link”, your settings are encoded in the part of the address after the # sign. Browsers do not transmit that part to any server.

Cookies and third parties

We set no cookies. Fonts, scripts and icons are served from this website itself. We do not embed content from third parties, so no consent banner is needed. Links to other websites open in a new tab and are not embedded.

Anonymous analytics

We use Matomo, which we run ourselves on our own server in Germany, to count page views. Matomo runs here without cookies and without browser fingerprinting, honors the Do Not Track setting of your browser and records no visitor profile. Requests from automated browsers are not counted. The grades you enter are never part of the measurement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object at any time with the switch below, by switching on Do Not Track in your browser or by writing to us.
